Director, Bella Aursby, is a filmmaker based in Richmond, Virginia. Originally from Norfolk, Virginia-- received a Bachelor of Cinema at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Work consists of music videos and narrative shorts about self-journey. Crafting stories about young women finding their independence in a world of chaos and uncertainty.
My creative energy stems from music, fashion, visual art, and the nuanced emotions that come with personal growth and self-discovery. My filmmaking journey started on a pink iPod Nano, capturing awkward dramedies and homemade music videos in my bedroom. What felt like a childhood hobby quickly became a lifelong passion.
